Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- use manual mode
- use TTL (automatic) mode and exposure compensation
- freeze action with flash
- make your subjects look better with off camera flash
- be more comfortable giving direction to subjects
- understand the basics of how to shoot with flash
- undestand the characteristics of different lighting modifiers such as reflectors and soft boxes
- shoot outdoors (balancing available light with flash)
- see the light
Requirements
- Students must bring their own DSLR, lens, and at least one camera flash
- basic working knowledge of your DSLR
