This hands-on 1-day course is based on the current Microsoft 365 Desktop version of Excel. Participants using Excel 2016 or later will be able to follow along, although some of the newest features may not be available in older versions.
This intermediate course is designed for learners who have previous experience with Excel, equivalent to On-Track Excel Level 1. Experienced, advanced, self-taught users, may find this course a valuable refresher.

Through the use of hands-on exercises participants will learn to:
A review of Level 1 concepts - navigation, interface, basic formulas, basic formatting.
Writing intermediate formulas, including nested functions.
The Name Manager, use of named cells, ranges and constants.
Auditing formulas and working with error checking and correction.
Using more IF functions including SUMIF, AVERAGEIF.
Sorting and Filtering
Review of Flash Fill
Combining data with Consolidate
Using Conditional Formatting
Creating Charts and Graphs
Work with the common VLookup and HLookup functions, along with Index/Match.
Introduction to the new XLookup function (only for 365 users).
Learn to be more efficient in Excel and what resources are available.
Saving to OneDrive
Using AI (CoPilot, ChatGPT etc.)
